GWED-G Leading the Way in Organic, Resilient Agriculture
Our seed bank, supported by GWED-G and CivFund, empowers the Lacan Kwo Ki Lwete Group in Omoro District with organic, resilient seeds. These traditional seeds, such as cassava and finger millet, thrive without pesticides, yield better, and store longer than genetically modified seeds. The training provided has enhanced financial management, conflict resolution, and agricultural practices, promoting food security and sovereignty. By sharing our knowledge and resources, we aim to uplift the community and ensure sustainable farming practices in northern Uganda.
